This whole recipe takes only about 12-15 minutes to make, perfect to make while the biscuits bake!
Biscuits and Gravy
2 biscuits from a can of premade biscuits OR homemade biscuits
1 tsp oil
3 links of breakfast sausage or 2 sausage patties
1 tbsp flour
3/4 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
- (Put your biscuits in the oven now. This gravy comes together pretty quickly). In a small saucepan over medium high heat, warm the oil.
- Once hot, add in the sausages and brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and chop into 1/4 inch pieces.
- Add the flour into the oil and stir until a paste forms. Pour in the milk, little by little, stirring constantly in order to prevent lumps.
- Add the sausages back in and season the gravy to taste. Spoon onto the biscuits and enjoy!
