This recipe is adapted from Binging with Babish’s blog, and boy did he do a good thing making this. It’s quick, delicious, and makes 2 servings!
Pasta Aglio e Olio
2 servings linguine
1/3 cup olive oil
4-5 cloves garlic
1/4 cup chopped parsley or dried parsley
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
juice from 1/4-1/3 of a lemon
- In a pot/pan, heat salted water to boiling. Cook linguine according to package directions.
- Meanwhile: slice the garlic as thinly as possible. In a skillet, over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add in the garlic, and stir until it’s browned on the edges. Add in crushed red pepper.
- Drain the pasta, but save 1/4 cup of the water. Add the pasta and reserved water into the pan of garlic and oil. Mix in lemon juice and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste!
