Small Batch Biscuits

Craving biscuits and gravy? Biscuits with honey? Biscuits with chicken? This quick recipe is amazing!

Small Batch Biscuits

1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter, cold, cut into small chunks.
1/2 cup milk (or milk substitute)

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Grease baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Using forks, mix the butter into the dough, smashing into smaller and smaller pieces. Don’t let the butter melt!
  4. Mix in the milk.
  5. Turn out onto a floured work surface. Flatten until ~3/4 in thick.
  6. Cut into portions and round out the edges. (Makes about 4-6 biscuits)
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden.
