Chicken Parmesan

Here’s a simple way to make this Olive Garden favorite!
(You can always use a chicken breast instead of a thigh, I just prefer thighs)

Chicken Parmesan

1 boneless, skinless chicken thigh
1/2 cup flour
salt and pepper
1 egg
1 tbsp water
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
dash of Italian seasoning
1/3 cup marinara sauce
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, warm about 1/4 inch of oil.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper. In another bowl mix egg and water. In a third bowl mix bread crumbs and Italian seasoning.
  4. Coat the chicken in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then bread crumb mixture.
  5. Once the oil is hot, place in chicken, cooking until browned (3-4 minutes per side).
  6. Place the chicken onto the baking sheet. Spread on pasta sauce, top with cheese. Bake 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!

While your chicken is baking, feel free to use your saucepan to boil water and cook pasta! That’s what I did!
